With less than two weeks to go all is in place for this years BSUPA National Championships which will once again be hosted by the Extreme Academy at Watergate Bay on the weekend of 15th & 16th of October. Over the course of the two days there will be competition in both surf and distance racing. Along side the Open Men and Open Women categories this year will also see the inclusion of under 16's in Waves.
The Format for the weekend is as follows:
Saturday
08.30 - 09.30am Entry Registration
Open Men Surf
Open Women Surf
Under 16 Surf
Sunday am
09.30 - 10.30am Entry Registration
Open Men & Women Distance Race
Classes will be 12'6" Stock, 14ft & Unlimited.
Sunday pm
Expression Wave Session Sponsored by Westcountry Watersports.
In addition to the Individual competitions and National Titles up for grabs, will be the highly prized Watergate Bay Waterman Trophy, awarded to the competitor with the highest combined score in the Men's Surf & Distance Race. The winner in addition to being presented with the Watergate Bay Waterman Trophy will also received a meal for two at the Beach Hut, Watergate Bay.
Entry Fee's
Cost of entry will be as follow:
Men & Women - £30 for bsupa members if you enter on line via the bsupa website, £35 if you wish to enter on the day.
Non bsupa members can enter there will be an additional fee of £10. This is to cover insurance across the weekend
Under 16 - £25 for bsupa members if you enter on line via the bsupa website £30 if you wish to enter on the day.

On-line entry's can be make via the BSUPA website www.bsupa.org.uk. On-line entry will close at 6pm on the evening of the 14th of October.
