Chris "Guts" Griffiths joins SurfTech Stand Up Paddle Team

Chris Guts Griffiths Stand Up paddle surfing Anyone who surfs or stand up paddle surfs in the UK will have heard the name Chris "Guts" Griffiths. Chris is a legend who has been a well known face of surfing for over 40 years, he has won over a dozen Welsh titles, split between longboard and shortboard divisions, he won the Europe pro longboard tour in 1997 and 1999 and had a top five ranking in the ASP in 1996.

We interviewed Chris in 2008 and since then he has been stand up paddle surfing up and down the UK. He is now sponsored by SurfTech (via the Surf Commission in the UK). Chris has been riding both of Gerry Lopez's models, the 8’11″ Lil’ Darling quad and the 9' 6" Surf Music as well as the Infinity 10' Ku Ku Hoe. Chris will be sending us some updates on how he is finding these boards, and we will shortly be getting some ourselves to review. I the meantime enjoy the videos and photo's of Chris in action.
